| Shadow Work and Shell Stitch are the focus of this 6-hour project workshop. During this lesson, students will learn the intricacies of shadow work embroidery while creating an adorable baby’s diaper-shirt and matching diaper cover of pretty pastel batiste. Dainty flowers and shadow stitched wee chickadees flit around the scalloped front of the adorable diaper shirt. The edge of the shirt is stitched in shell stitch, which will also be covered in class. Students will learn the proper method of forming the perfect granito, as well as how to shape a lazy daisy flower. This cute, fun class is sure to please a variety of stitchers. | ||
